It is a matter of honor and pride that our Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions (GPGI) is going to organise two days 9th International Conference on “Disruptive Technology for achieving Sustainable Development Goals” (IC-DTSDG) in the field of Science, th th Technology and Management on 22Nd & 23Rd December 2022. The conference is being organised in collaboration with the SEGi University, Malaysia, The Prince of Songkla University, Thailand and Can Tho University, Vietnam. Disruptive technology is an innovation that significantly modifies the way adopted by consumers, industries, or businesses. The basic concept of sustainable development aims to keep a balance between economic promotions while protecting the environment in order to meet the necessity of the existing as well the upcoming generations. The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, seek to accommodate economic growth, environmental balance and social progress, ensuring equal opportunities for all people to lead better life without compromising the planet.
Industrialization, rapid population, increased urbanization, climate change and various other factors influence & degrade the environment and the earth’s natural resources. Therefore the International Conference on “Disruptive Technology for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” has been planned to offer a grand opportunity to the participants to exchange the ideas and discuss the issues related to the current environmental challenges, technological innovations and possibilities of opportunities for collaborations among scientists, policymakers and activists. The conference will help in growing a strong community of scientists, academicians, youngsters & NGOs, which also include research scholars and students to exchange and share their expertise & experiences so that we can find integrated and sustainable solutions for different environmental issues affecting the planet.
Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions (GPGI) provides education in various sectors such as Engineering & Technology, Science, Management, Architecture and Health Science and Gaikwad-Patil International School including M. S. Dhoni Cricket Academy.
Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology (TGPCET) was established in the year 2007 by Vidarbha Bahu-uddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha (VBSS), a registered society. It is a self financed Private Engineering College, which is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Nagpur and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Also college is approved by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, Maharashtra State. The Institute is Accredited with A+ (3.32 CGPA) by NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC). An Autonomous Institute affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.
TGPCET offers 6 PG programs in engineering viz. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Integrated Power System (IPS), Structural Engineering (SE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) and also offers Two years PG programs in Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as Two years Master in Computer Application (MCA).
The College offers four years UG programs in Nine disciplines of engineering viz. Bio-Technology (B.Tech), Aeronautical Engineering (AE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering (CE) and Electrical Engineering (EE).
The institute also offers four diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) & Electrical Engineering (EE).
To emerge as a learning Center of Excellence in the National Ethos in domains of Science, Technology and Management.

AIM: To provide a potential platform for young researchers and students from within the country and abroad to keep pace with the latest development in emerging areas of Science, Technology and Management for the benefit of society, balance the environment, economic promotion and social progress.
Objective:
1. To develop new ideas through research & development for implementation of sustainable development goals.
2. To get help in implementation of the sustainable development goals through technological intervention.
3. To investigate and integrate Industry 4.O with Agriculture 4.O aligning with the United Nation's set SDG.
4. To spur networks of expertise, knowledge and practice into actions to achieve excellence in technological development.
5. To improve rural areas and support environment for better sustainable future.
6. To enhance and set SDG indicators with respect to current scenario.
